Further information
Discover the unique thrills of scuba diving during a trial dive at the Frioul Islands, Riou, or Planier, off the coast of Marseille.
This introductory session is open to everyone ages 8 and up and requires no prior experience. Guided by passionate professionals, you’ll be welcomed at Marseille’s Vieux-Port, where all your equipment will be provided and adjusted to ensure your comfort and safety.
After a short boat ride to the dive site, you’ll receive a briefing on the basics of diving and the marine ecosystem of the Calanques National Park. You’ll enter the water gradually, accompanied at all times by a certified instructor, to explore the seabed with complete peace of mind. Observe fish, starfish, sea urchins, and sometimes even octopuses, thriving in a preserved environment.
This introductory dive is designed to be accessible and reassuring, with a dive time tailored to each participant (approximately 20 to 30 minutes underwater, at a maximum depth of 6 meters). Make the most of this sensory experience and leave with unforgettable memories. After the dive, you’ll return to the boat to share your impressions before heading back to the Vieux-Port, with a smile on your face and perhaps a new passion in your heart.
