Further information

From the 1920s until today, from the theatre cafes and public squares to the shadier and more disreputable places of nocturnal encounters, Ludo will introduce you to a community teeming with diversity. A place where cabaret stars, penniless merchants and anonymous members of diverse origins mingle...

Discover the streets through a different prism - a completely new map of the city will be drawn for you! By following this route of important figures, you will come across new historical, political, cultural and festive aspects of this beautiful city.

I really enjoyed the tour and Ludovic’s extensive knowledge. Thanks to him we could learn a lot of interesting facts about Marseille’s queer history and locations. I think this is particularly interesting if you are a lover of culture as Ludovic shared many names of musicians and writers as well who left an impact on the city’s artistic history. I can’t wait to read Claude McKay when I miss marseille.
