Someone will pick you just down the cruise ship to go to the old port.
Then, you will start the visit with a stop at the Pharo Palace with a magnificent view of the city. You will continue through the vallon des auffes, a small fishing port with its fishermen and its FONFON bouillabaisse restaurant!
Start the climb to Notre Dame de la Garde, which you will have to deserve (a little). From up there, a 360 ¨ view of the city awaits you. Take the time to visit the basilica.
Descent to the Kennedy corniche, to cross the Prado beaches, the port of the Pointe Rouge, the Madrague Montredon to the "end of the world": The Calanque de Callelongue meanders between the rocks ... superb.
It's time to stop eating at the fish restaurant or on the beach and take a bath (unsupervised but so refreshing!)
The return will be through the huge Borely Park and the velodrome stadium dear to Marseillais who are crazy about it!
Your passionate and fascinating guide will explain to you why he / she has chosen to live here! and who knows, may make you want to? ... at least come back to your ship !

This tour was a great way to spend time in Marseille and see the sights. Our weather was sunny, and slightly cool, which was perfect, for this long, active day. Anyone taking the tour should definitely consider the weather. Additionally understand that you are riding on city streets, closely alongside traffic, at least half the time. We have done this before, so it wasn't new. This is not a tour for beginners.

Biking was very nice and scenic but I would suggest a change in practice when taking out a group of novice cyclists especially with e-bikes. E-bikes are very heavy and takes time to feel comfortable on. A lot of tourists are trying out something new on their vacation and that could be a bit intimidating in itself. There were many times when our guide would get out front by quite a distance and the ones in back would get separated until the guide stopped to have us catch up. I saw one person in our group run into a building trying to change directions quickly to stay on course and my husband ( in a traffic roundabout) fell off his bike and scraped his knee all up. I heard the fall and circled back for him. We eventually caught up to the group.
The change I would suggest is that there be a guide in the back of a group to help out in case of need and to help out those less advanced cyclists. Keep in mind that this tour takes place in traffic with cars and not always in cycling lanes. This is intimidating for some if not all new cyclists in a new country most are aged over 60 and are novice participants.
Other than that suggestion, the tour is fun and well worth doing. The park where we had lunch was very pretty. Thanks to Lucy our guide. I would recommend this tour.

We are really sorry to hear that you and your husband had some stressful moments on the road and that he was injured, even if only lightly – this is absolutely not the kind of experience we want our guests to have. You are absolutely right: e-bikes are heavier and can feel intimidating, especially for less experienced cyclists riding in a new city and a different traffic environment. Your suggestion to always have a guide at the back of the group, to support the less confident riders and react quickly if needed, is excellent. We are already reviewing our on‑tour procedures to keep the group more compact and to make sure everyone feels safe and looked after from start to finish. We are nonetheless very happy that you enjoyed the route, the views, the lunch break in the park and Lucy’s company. We will of course share your kind words with her. It was my fathers 60's birthday and I booked this e-bike tour in the national park of Merseille for 12 family members in the ages between 20-65 years old. I asked for ballons on my dads bike as a surprise, and Fada did not dissapoint! It was a memorable birthday experience and my dad was so happy I booked this tour.

The communication ahead of the experience per e-mail and WhatsApp could have been better... We thought we were going on a 3 hour bike ride to the national park (that is what we asked for), and we got a good offer, however no corrigation of time... The bike ride actually takes 6 hours. So it was quite a surprise on the day we arrived. I had convince my familiy members to take the tour as it was much longer then what they were prepared for. But I am so glad I convinced them (they are too)!

Silvia was a GREAT guide! He gave us some really interesting insights about Marseille, he spoke in a way that was easy to follow and understand. We give this trip 5/5 because of him! One of my family members is not very steady on the bike, but he took extra good care of her.

The scenery is also very nice and we stopped at a café (not included in the price) and had the most amazing lunch. The food was super, and the location... Very memorable and Instagram-friendly!

If you do this tour, you won't regret it!
